As-Sabour Resilience Project, Chad
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) leads the As-Sabour project (“Resilience” in Arabic) in partnership with the national organisation ADHESCO, working in the Hadjer Lamis Province of Chad. The project addresses the immediate needs of internally displaced persons and host communities while strengthening resilient livelihoods and social cohesion. It combines cash assistance, savings and lending groups, vocational training, community dialogue, and support to local governance, reaching over 6000 vulnerable farming and fishing households.
JASIR: Joint Action for Stabilization, Inclusion and Resilience, Cameroon
CBM (Christian Blind Mission) leads JASIR with consortium partners ALIMA and Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) in the Far North Region of Cameroon. The project stood out for its integrated HDP Nexus approach, strong localization and institutional anchoring, and its focus on health systems strengthening. It embeds disability inclusion across all activities, from health, nutrition and WASH services to livelihoods, governance, and peacebuilding.
